Mom and Dad started eating here decades ago. I moved out of the sunset for few years, and they re-introduced it to me when I moved back to the avenues with some gigantic breakfast burritos or roast pork burritos after church. I started showing up for breakfast/brunch pretty regular and through conversations w the staff and customers I learned that Stan actually took over his parents Legacy a few years back! Solid breakfasts and lunch from Loco Moco to Benedict's, Juevos Rancheros or Chilaquiles. Don't forget to try some of Orlando(Stan's right hand man)'s hot sauces!!! If you have a cookie penchant... Stan is also the Cookie Man! Hands Down, this is my neighborhood Breakfast Joint!!!

Food is pretty simple, but that isn't a bad thing. It's good and affordable. This place doesn't try to be anything other than what it is - a family diner. The waiter, and I'm guessing the owner, is very kind and friendly. He engages with all the customers and makes them feel like family. I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

What a charming diner located in the sunset! We visited on a Saturday afternoon and were promptly seated at the high-top tables. The service was friendly, with staff checking in on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. My favorite dish to order is the Italian omelette - a hearty pesto omelette packed with sausage, avocado, onions, and melted mozzarella cheese. It's incredibly satisfying. One major highlight was the freshly squeezed orange juice, and I particularly enjoyed their homemade hot sauce, which came in a green and red bottle and added a delicious kick to the meal. The fruit platter was also generous in portion size. Just a heads up, they prefer cash payments, and there's a surcharge for credit card transactions. Overall, I highly recommend this spot if you're in the mood for quick and delicious diner food.
